Before You Apply
- 1.Research Civil Service's current business priorities — not just what they do. Candidates who cite recent news, reports, or strategic announcements stand out.
- 2.Prepare a genuine answer to “Why Civil Service?” — not just “because it's a great company.” The Civil Service assesses against its Success Profiles framework — seven Behaviours, Strengths, Experience, Technical skills, and Ability. Candidates must frame every answer using the STAR format mapped to these behaviours.
